If photography is your passion then you will truly enjoy this "exclusive opportunity" to spend a weekend with Pulitzer Prize winning photojournalist David Hume Kennerly.

Upon checking in to your Ocean View Suite at Spyglass Inn on the cliffs of Pismo Beach, 16 lucky students will attend a meet and greet cocktail party with their host David Kennerly and the staff at Workshops West.

That evening David will show photographs that cover his remarkable career in photojournalism, followed by a Q & A Session.

Friday morning during breakfast on the beach with David, he will give students their assignment for the day. David will hang out with half of the students on Friday and help them with any questions they may have. During field sessions students are free to shoot on their own schedule.

Friday night we gather for a Santa Maria Style BBQ Dinner with David and the Workshops West Staff. After dinner students will have a chance to download and edit their images. David and Workshops Staff will be on hand to help out.

Saturday morning it's breakfast with David again and then off to your field assignment. This time David will accompany the other half of the class for help and inspiration.

Saturday night after nice dinner at one of Pismo's restaurants we all gather to discuss the days shoot and download and edit our work. David and the staff will be on hand to help you edit your work down to you very best shots.

Sunday morning we wrap up with a student slide show and critique by David.
